Zoom In, Part 2 :: Woman at the Well
November 19, 2008 01:24 AM PST
Often our secrets keep us from Jesus; but our secrets don’t keep Jesus from us. John, chapter 4. Zoom In, Part 1 :: Water to Wine (John 2:1-12)November 09, 2008 11:14 PM PST
Jesus is creator; are you willing to allow Him to change your life from what is to what could be? I, Heart (Healed), Part 4 :: RESPECTNovember 03, 2008 04:09 PM PST
Everyone wants to be respected; the key is to give it to everyone.
October 26, 2008 02:56 PM PDT
Purity pleases God. Jesus is Pure. Be like Jesus. Ephesians 5:1-20.
October 19, 2008 01:09 PM PDT
Dishonesty is an illusion of self-protection; honesty actually guards your soul.
October 14, 2008 10:03 AM PDT
Responsibility is more than something you take; it's a lifestyle that develops into strong character.
October 09, 2008 09:02 AM PDT
Envy says that you deserve what others have; God says to celebrate others.

How much can you really know a person? We can't know what's going on in their mind or heart. What if parts of our heart leaked out whether we want it to or not? If you could rip open your chest and reveal your heart…and I don’t mean your physical heart organ…but if your heart and soul was revealed for all to see, what would we see? Would it be virtually the same way you live? Or, would it be like two different people? Our true character, our hearts leak out, bit by bit through things like: our words, laziness, anger and envy. Patrick Garcia speaks about the dangers of laziness.

Part 1 :: Our words are powerful. They can build people up and reveal a heart for Christ or they can tear people down and reveal our insecurities. Knowing God September 07, 2008 01:29 PM PDT
Obedience is the pathway to knowing God Freak Show, Part 3 :: Romans 14-15August 31, 2008 04:08 PM PDT
Let God in and let God out Freak Show, Part 2 :: Romans 13August 24, 2008 05:29 PM PDT
It’s simple really. Romans 12 is about submitting to God – offering your body – in view of, or because of what Christ did on the cross for you, you submit and give yourself to God. He changest he way you look at life, the way you think. Romans 12 is about submitting to God. Romans 13 is about submitting to human authority.

All summer we’ve been in the bible book of Romans. The first part we called “Unashamed.” Paul said in Romans 1:16, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes." And if you are a follower of Jesus Christ and unashamed of the good news – we believe that if you live out the teachings of these last few chapters (12-15), your life will look unique, weird, a little freaky to those watching. It’ll be a freak show. But not in the way where people come to watch in a “gross me out, show me something freaky” kind of way. But people will see something in your life that is freaky, but genuine and real. A life at peace and full of love and kindness and obedience to Christ. Romans 12 - What you believe determines how you behave: offer your body, change your mind, join the freak show. Unashamed, Part 4 :: Romans 5:1-5July 27, 2008 09:11 PM PDT
Our summer intern, Tim Williams preaches for both of our High School services on Romans chapter 5. Unashamed, Part 3 :: Romans 3:21-26July 20, 2008 01:19 PM PDT
Sin separates, faith connects...but there's got to be someone in the middle to make it happen. Unashamed, Part 2 :: Romans 2July 16, 2008 04:47 PM PDT
We're going through the book of Romans for the summer. The first 5 weeks is Volume 1: "Unashamed". This is Romans chapter 2. Unashamed, Part 1 :: Romans 1July 06, 2008 02:35 PM PDT
The book of Romans is the 6th book of the NT. Paul, who used to be a Jewish Religious Leader (a Pharisee) and had Christians killed – became a follower of Jesus (Acts 9) and became the greatest missionary preacher of all time, and he wrote ½ of the NT. Paul wrote this letter to Christians in Rome about 30 years after Jesus was crucified. Romans is considered the greatest description of the gospel ever! And what God has given us in this bible letter, is the truth about our sin-dilemma and the good news of Jesus’ rescue! God, People, Savior, Choice. Romans 1-3:20 deal with the first two head on. Romans 1:16-17, NLT is the heart and theme of the entire book... Most Powerful Person in your LifeJune 29, 2008 01:58 PM PDT
Shepherd Middle School Pastor, Chris Nicely, speaks to our High School Ministry about the most powerful person in our lives...our earthly father. Whether present, distant or completely not available to us, he shapes so much of who we are. Chris looks at the story of the Prodigal son from an entirely different perspective than usual. Essentials, Part 1 :: Breathe (Prayer)May 25, 2008 01:35 PM PDT
Prayer should be like breathing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to "pray continually." But just like with breathing…you can’t exhale without first inhaling. We’ll never really know what to say to God and we’ll never truly understand how prayer can stain every area of our life without first breathing in. Inhale ... Exhale Coming Attractions, Part 3 :: HeavenMay 20, 2008 05:48 PM PDT
"Heaven is not heaven without God's presence" Coming Attractions, Part 2 :: HellMay 11, 2008 01:21 PM PDT
The fact of hell should point us to the object of heaven. This sermon is a look at what the bible says for sure about hell. There is also a time of Q&A at the end and we've put a section on our website to attempt some answers to questions we couldn't get to. Go to www.hsministry.org/pages/hell. Coming Attractions, Part 1 :: Second ComingMay 04, 2008 01:47 PM PDT
Ideas, opinions and interpretations abound concerning the Return of Jesus Christ...but what can we know FOR SURE from God's Word about His Second Coming? Everything, Part 5 :: Story TellerMay 04, 2008 01:46 PM PDT
Nate Milnik (VINE College Ministry Staff) preaches about why Jesus taught through stories and breaks down the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15. Everything, Part 4 :: ForgiverApril 20, 2008 01:26 PM PDT
Have you ever felt like everything hung on one important decision? Have you ever been caught up in a moment when you weren’t exactly sure how things were going to turn out? In Luke chapter 7, a woman with a broken and sinful past, interrupts a respectable party, falls a Jesus’ feet, does something “foolish” and hangs by that moment, unsure how things would turn out. Everything, Part 3 :: HealerApril 13, 2008 01:21 PM PDT
A look at Demon-Possessed-Graveyard-Freaks and Dead Girls :: A Day in the Life of Jesus in Luke chapter 8. Everything, Part 2 :: TeacherApril 07, 2008 10:22 AM PDT
Phil Allen, Director of HSM Discipleship, preaches on Jesus as teacher. Everything, Part 1 :: Friend of SinnersMarch 30, 2008 01:08 PM PDT
"Everything” – that is what Jesus Christ is. Everything is what He asks for. Everything is caught in the balance. Everything begins now. Jesus, the carpenter from Nazareth who lived 2000 years ago, claimed to be the One and Only Son of God as well as the One and Only Way to know God and go to heaven after we die. The bible claims (Colossians 1:16-17) that He created the world and everything in it and that he holds everything together. Everything. For the next few weeks, we are going to be zooming in on the bible book of Luke. Today is from Luke 5:1-11, 27-32 and 19:1-8. seXwise issues :: special 5 min podcastMarch 09, 2008 02:28 PM PDT
This is a special – 5 minute podcast concerning a couple of the issues we talked about during our sex series these last 7 weeks. I’ve heard some feedback that there were more than a few student upset with some things said a couple weeks ago, during the “how far is too far” sermon. Honestly, that’s exciting for me to hear. Not because I like it when people are upset with me but because it means that (A) you were paying attention and (B) that it hit a nerve. seXwise, part 7 :: I've Messed Up, Now What?March 09, 2008 02:26 PM PDT
This weekend was so powerful for our ministry. Looking at John 8 and the woman caught in adultery, we went in and out of the sermon and worship time. seXwise, part 6 :: How Far is Too Far?March 02, 2008 03:34 PM PST
Ever wonder what the "line" is? Actually, have you ever asked the question, "What is sex?" You might be suprised... seXwise, Part 5 :: What about Homosexuality?February 24, 2008 04:43 PM PST
It's a hot topic and there is much debate and much confusion within the Christian community. What does the bible really say? And what is the responsibility of Jesus-followers concerning this subject? seXwise, part 4 :: how can I honor God in dating?February 19, 2008 05:19 PM PST
Phil Allen, director of discipleship, brings a message about dating... seXwise, Part 3: What's God's Design for Sex?February 10, 2008 02:03 PM PST
Part 3 of our series on what God has to say about sex... seXwise, Part 2: What About "Safe-Sex"?February 03, 2008 08:24 PM PST
Part two of our series attempts to debunk the myth that sex outside of God's plan can be safe. seXwise, Part 1 (What's the Big Picture?)January 27, 2008 11:10 AM PST
This generation has more access to information about sex than any before it. But information + experience does NOT equal understanding. Just because you know stuff about sex … even if you’ve messed around a little or a lot … this doesn’t mean you understand?

The Cross is the Signature of Jesus's life and call on ours. It's what He uses to tatoo and stain our hearts; infected with the love of God! Jesus is the centerpiece of Scripture and His cross is the spotlight. Jesus calls us to follow Him in the way of His cross. The Signature of Jesus, Part 2 (ABC's of the Cross)January 13, 2008 04:34 PM PST
The Cross is the Signature of Jesus's life and call on ours. It's what He uses to tatoo and stain our hearts; infected with the love of God!
January 06, 2008 01:51 PM PST
Between the time Jesus was nailed to the cross and the moment He died, six hours had past and He spoke seven times. The dying last words of Christ are important because of who Jesus was. It is with the torture of Jesus and His mutilated figure splattered across our mind's eye that we now come to the cross, not to see His agony, but to hear his words... Think, Part 4: Why Does God Allow Evil and Suffering?December 09, 2007 03:36 PM PST
In this sermon, I (Dusty) only shared about half of what I prepared. So, there will be a part 2 for this podcast to cover some other ground, if you'd like to go deeper. Think, Part 3: Did Jesus Really Resurrect from the Dead?December 03, 2007 02:10 PM PST
